Incredible flavors and perfectly spicy! Every dish we tried was full of bold, authentic taste. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. A must-visit for anyone who loves a little heat in their meal!
Everything was so delicious! We arrived at 5:15PM on a Monday and waited 20 minutes for a party of 3. The waitress was also attentive. She gave us hair ties and bibs to eat comfortably. Service was hiccupy; they forgot to bring us the rice and the rice scooper. But i just reminded the waitress and she brought them immediately. She accidentally spilled water on our table. But it’s okay!!!! I think it’s important for people to understand that we’re all human, and sometimes we forget things and get distracted by a bunch of task at the same time and accidents happen. We need to be patient and…
Delicious and authentic food from chengdu. Everything was flavorful and the portions are huge compared to other restaurants. The string beans and eggplants are so good and addicting. The interior is a vibe. It really feels like you’re eating at a local street stall in chengdu. Service is fast and the staff are friendly.
We went there in the evening and didn't have to queue. We could eat as soon as we got there. The service was quite good. The speed of serving dishes was normal, not particularly slow. However, the food was just so-so. It wasn't as delicious as that in Toronto. For now, I don't have the desire to go there again. I hope the food will be better later.

I had one portion of "Twice cooked porked" and one of "Kong Pao Chicken". The portions are huge, a single portion is too much for one person alone and should be shared. The twice cooked pork was delicious and tasted just like in Chengdu. The Kong Pao Chicken was good but didn't taste authentic, they added some chayote to the recipe which I've never seen before, it was also more on the sweet side. The waiting staff was great, they were helpful and kind. I'm looking forward to come back and try other dishes!
The interior decorations and the liveliness of the place really makes you feel like you are eating at a restaurant in China out on the street and I really enjoyed that atmosphere. The problem is that the restaurant is really popular and that they do not take any reservations. You have to go in and give your name and phone number and they will call you back when a table is available. However, the wait time is usually around 2 hours on the weekend which is quite a lot. The service was great. The waitress was patient and attentive. They took the time to explain us their menu and give us their…
The positives about this restaurant: nice interior, good service once you’re seated. The food itself leaves quite a bit to be desired. It’s hard to pinpoint but for me everything had a similar taste and weirder so is that I can’t remember any of the dishes being steamy when served. The flavours are mostly flat and lacked depth and freshness. It was mentioned to our group that the spiciness was also toned down because people in Montreal can’t handle as spicy as those in Toronto. Having tried twice now, there’s nothing that stands out except for the 冰粉 (Sichuan-style jello). The presentation of…
I’m happy to see this new restaurant in Montreal. Their menu has mostly spicy 🌶️ Chinese dishes, but sill some none spicy options. Since it’s newly opened, the line up is pretty long at lunch and dinner time. So it’s better to go after meal time. In terms of taste, the dishes are on the oily and more salted side, but that’s the style for Hunan cuisine. If you don’t like heavy spices , don’t do. Although the price is higher than average Chinese restaurant, but the portion is big enough. Recommend to go with group of people, so you can try more dishes.
