We’ve been eating at this restaurant for over ten years, and it has always been very good. It’s a small family-style restaurant with simple but tasty dishes. However, ever since the ownership changed, the food has become saltier and spicier. Today we ordered the cherry pork—a dish we’ve been eating for more than ten years, and it’s supposed to be sweet and sour. But today it was so spicy that even I, someone who’s used to Sichuan food, found it unbearably hot! Why would cherry pork be this spicy? There’s only one explanation: the chef didn’t wash the pan. If they can’t even clean a pan…
Authentic cuisine of Northeastern China. Long menu of proteins and vegetables to meet different taste needs. Affordable price and very friendly service. Cozy and clean. Highly recommended.

Awesome traditional Harbin cuisine. Very flavourful. I recommend the braised pork belly dishes and also the Yu Xiang eggplant. Owner was very adorable and nice.
I’ve always wanted to try and it’s absolutely worth it!!! Super authentic and super delicious! And the auntie is super welcoming and sweet :)
At the time we visited in 2023, the restaurant was rated 4.3 stars so we decided to give it a try. Food is tasty and authentic. Service is excellent for a small restaurant. I won't give it 5 stars since I believe they could offer more vegetables with the beef & noodles dish. The wonton soup is very good and the chili chicken is a must try.
Update: came here post confinement. Owner respects sanitary rules, service very quick and efficient. Amazing northern cuisine. Big yummy portions, nice owners and good value. Will definitely be our regular northern Chinese spot. Recommended dishes: cumin lamb, braised fish, beef noodles and spicy clams.
