Re: 130 William Street is a relatively new building with three elevators. At least once a week multiple elevators go offline, often with multiple people inside of them. Quite frequently, and as recently as Monday night, all three elevators go down which represents a massive safety hazard for the 66 story building. The elevators within the building present a material safety risk to users. I have personally been stuck multiple times as have other visitors/residents requiring full system resets and forced door opening. A beautiful building in sad district for living
Beautiful structure with a public space courtyard in front. An awesome architectural addition to lower Manhattan.
I worked making the pavers in the patio in the street...great job

The building was built unnecessarily. Not only do we have plenty of existing homes, but also dwindling resources, and most of all, no-one deserves to live this lavishly, whilst income inequality in this country is so disgracefully high.
Great new building and the first skyscraper by famous British-Ghanaian architect Sir David Adjaye (born 1966), best known for the National Museum of African American History and Culture in DC. I loved the cool shaded public plaza in front of the building, which is noticeable in space-starved Lower Manhattan. The architecture itself with the arches is reminiscent of the fascist Palazzo della Civilta Italiana in Rome (now headquarters of Fendi). The building is close to Frank Gehry's 8 Spruce Street.
This building is GREAT don’t get me wrong - But idk what management allowed the current doorman to be hired. I’ve had enough of his harassment, and I’ve seen him harass other female guests. It’s gotten disturbing. ok so we’re deleting reviews now! - my review was taken down just minutes after posting this the first time. Worry about the employees instead of Google reviews.
Love the details here! Very famous architect, David Adjaye. He’s an incredible architect and his first residential project in the big city is quite the size. The facade and interior. Amenity packages. All are quite tasteful. Not the best fan of the location however this is unique and is well built, hence reason why this building performs just better than many others around in FiDI. Now 90% sold.
