  • Best park/biggest park in Irvine! People are always here playing pretty much every sport. I go to play basketball and have never not had a full game of 5vs5. Bathrooms are well maintained. Vending machines, plus water fountains. Well lit for playing well into the night! All in all can't say enough great things about this park.
  • Very nice sand courts total of 5 courts. Ideally the boarders at the back could be longer and the sand a little deeper but I was very impressed. The best outdoor net system I've ever seen. Net tension and height adjustment are independent so you can easily adjust the height of the net without messing with net tension. There are even spectator bleachers.
  • Awesome place to play vball, wish there were a few more courts. Also wish they didnt allow courts to be reserved on weekends, especially holiday weekends. Too many people wanting to play on weekends to have reserved courts! Love playing the stadium court!! They need some sort of barrier to keep the balls from going into the bushes and down the hills. They have cut the bushes back which helps a ton trying to find rogue balls!!
  • Great place for freind and family game. Very clean and close to parking space.

  • lReally good venue with the possibility of being great. There are currently a total of 5 courts. One stadium style with a few rows of seating on 3 sides and 4 courts in front of the soccer stadium. When they first built the courts they used dirt instead of sand. They've now fixed that. But the balls still roll a mile when they are hit off the court and 3 of the 5 courts have sub-par net hardware that you cant adjust the nets on. Hoping they fix all this and start grooming the courts as the center is dished out most of the time.
  • I play volleyball 3-4 times a week in San Clemente or Doho. Was really looking forward to the Great Park volleyball courts. Unfortunately they have one flaw that is a complete deal breaker... No Showers. Courts are ok, sand is ok, lights are cool for night play but all this is of no use if you can't rinse off after to go to work our just cool down. Add outdoor showers and you have a 5 star experience until then they are nearly useless.
  • The sand is good now and the lights are great. It's very pretty at night here. Eventually the city will put material around the courts to keep balls from rolling down the hills and into the rough. It was designed to look great but it doesn't function well when balls roll all over the place. It's currently a very hard to find, try to park in Lot 4. If you can make your way to the Carousel or the soccer stadium you are where you need to be.
  • The Great Park is really taking shape. Soccer, baseball, tennis, basketball, beach volley ball and hockey all have their own section. Some are open to public already, all should be soon. Very impressive!
