Nice hotel in a new building. Rooms are decorated with new furniture. Rooms are bit small but still enough. In some rooms hand washbasin are inside the room directly. Restaurant is on top floor overlooking the Acropolis and has a small pool. Breakfast is well enough. My advise is they may better add some full/height mirrors to the rooms.
We choose the Hilton Garden here because they had parking. They do. The rest of the experience was underwhelming. Unknown to us, the hotel is frequented by cruise line groups. They were either arriving or departing everyday during our stay. This resulted in both the front desk and the restaurant repeatedly overwhelmed with long lines and waiting. The staff was professional and polite but tasked with the impossible.
I have traveled all over the and never in my life encountered a nicer kinder hotel staff person than Stelios. The taxi from the airport tried to over charge us by €20 by charging us €70. Stelios demanded that the driver charge us the correct rate, which should have only been €50 for the time of day. From that moment, he went above and beyond telling us great places to eat and things to do. He said he has been with Hilton over 20 years and by the way he treats each guest, you can tell he loves his job!
Staff are superb!! Everyone is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to help, especially Stelio’s. Stelio’s was extraordinary. He showed exceptional customer service and showed great leadership to other workers. We were very impressed. Everything is clean and high end interior design. Wish the location was walking distance to most attractions, but honestly it’s not a big deal because the bus station is very close. This makes it a good spot. We would stay here again !

We arrived very late at night as our flight to Rhodes was diverted to Athens due to a major storm. We were greeted by lovely staff who made sure we got to our room quickly to allow us to relax after a stressful day. We had an excellent breakfast the following morning and the staff there were fantastic too. We were told by our airline that our flight from Athens to Rhodes would be a late departure. I enquired at reception if we could get a late checkout and the lovely Vasilliki, Front Office Manager was extremely helpful and allowed to stay until 17:00 which was fantastic for us.|Every member…
Location;|Overall found this to be a really good location to stay. Well served by multiple buses to get into town - the bus service doesn’t really run to time but buses are frequent enough that this was never an issue. The nearest metro station is roughly a 20 minute walk away. Plenty restaurants/coffee shops etc nearby. Neighbourhood is quite industrial with lots of car garages and felt quite safe, although there was a prostitute on the corner every night. ||Room;|Fairly standard size for a city location, functional and very clean. Open bathroom layout probably wouldn’t work for everyone but…
Overall, the hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, our room had several significant issues. The bed, which is one of the most important aspects of a stay, was uncomfortable - the mattress was too firm, and the pillows were flat. Duck feather pillows were provided, but they had a strong odor and appeared unclean, which could pose health risks. Additionally, there was visible mold in the room, which is concerning for respiratory health. A 4-star hotel should meet basic standards of comfort and hygiene.
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on Syngrou Avenue after a last-minute change of plans due to a ferry strike. We arrived late in the evening and found the neighborhood to be less charming than other parts of Athens. The area felt busy and a bit rough around the edges, with lots of traffic and not much atmosphere. It didn’t feel unsafe, but it definitely lacked the character and magic that other central neighborhoods have. The staff at the front desk were friendly and professional, and check-in was easy. Our room was quite small, and unfortunately, no upgrade was available even though we are…
