A friend died tragically and unexpectedly last week. The second I got the call it was early in the morning, and I was bee lining myself to be by the family's side. Something took over when I saw Publix, to stop and pick up food and supplies, but after being in there for about 15 seconds, I realized I was in shock and could not think straight. I saw what looked like a manager and started to cry and ask for help. It is all a bit of a blur, but before I knew it, there was a wonderful woman named Rosie from the deli who was at my side and helping me collect everything i needed. She shepherded me…
I am a frequent Publix shopper and have always appreciated the level of customer service your stores are known for, which is why I was so disappointed by my recent experience at the deli. When approaching the counter, I was very respectful and greeted the employees politely. Despite this, two employees, Ralph and Fatima, responded with clear frustration and were extremely rude while making my sandwich. Because I was courteous from the start, I am unsure where the disconnect occurred. Their attitude made the interaction uncomfortable and unwelcoming. To be honest, after receiving my sandwich,…
The customer service at this location is trash, specifically in the deli department. There was one employee working in the deli, Fahima, was extremely rude. She frowned the entire time and was very snappy. It reminded why I stopped going to this location. If it wasn't for the rain and traffic, I would have went to a different location.
Instacart and Publix greatly overcharged for multiple items. They offered a refund, I accepted then rescinded several days later. Now I cannot get IC to respond on what is happening OR why they made the decision to not proceed with a $95 credit! They cannot even tell me what they are missing since thier agents seem very lady and unhelpful. I have asked for an alternate path to contact multiple times and they done even respond 🫤 I also ordered curbside and the shopper did a poor job with no subs attempted then extra random items in my bags. I was honest and let the Publix employee know since I…

What is the deal with the deli? Why does it take them so long to make a sandwich? It's just a sandwich. Everything is sliced and measured. Everything is right there in front of them within arm's length. Can a manager train them? Or stand next to them with a stopwatch? Send Help! Pub Subs are delicious and I don't always have 45 minutes to wait for one.
I go to publix a lot. Somedays it’s good, others- not so much. The produce is hit or miss. Many times I’m forced to go to Inglewood Kroger because their produce selection is bigger and in better shape. Maybe it’s just my luck but some things are constantly sold out and not re-stocked or are completely inedible which is frustrating. Their sandwiches are usually good- however it highly depends on who’s making them. Many of the employees are nice and helpful though. There’s major potential for this store to expand and get better produce selections to support the east Nashville community.
I’m so glad to have his Publix on Gallatin Road. It’s small, easy to shop, and well-stocked. Deon is always very friendly and professional. He definitely deserves to be in a management position (which I think he is) He knows the customers well and consistently gives great customer service with a smile. Tips: 1) Avoid Sundays, 2) Grab the first parking spot you see, 3) Put your shopping cart away correctly. The lot is too small for runaway carts.
Having been born and raised in Florida, the public experience has always been the upmost best grocery store I’ve ever shopped in!! This Publix has to be first worse shopping experience I’ve ever had the floors the food the employees what can say!! I don’t wanna bad mouth them but the store really needs help the food was out of hold times (old) and being sold several hours after time or there was none the vegetables and fruits were out of stock also rotten!! The aisles were block and being disabled trying to move through the store was very difficult also I’m so used to every employee saying…
