our server was excellent this place was awesome and the food was even better. I love the atmosphere food and hospitality. It was a great place to go.
Great place for breakfast and lunch! Our server Amber was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the menu as always! She gave her opinion about what menu items we asked about and it made our decision so much easier! We decided on the French Toast ( HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and also on the Burger! We watched her not only navigate her section which was full but she was also helping other servers run food and drinks! She has waited on us several times and we absolutely love her! We come to The Soda Shop every time we are in town! It’s a MUST!
What an iconic place. My kids and I love to go there for a down home breakfast or to get a shake. I'm so glad they decided to preserve it! And free parking in Nashville is hard to come by. Kudos!
Great Stop for breakfast. Good food and service, and plenty to look at in this classic diner. Eggs were cooked well, home fries were crispy. Bottomless coffee.

There was no wait for seating. Its a seat yourself place. They have booths tables and counter seating available. We were taken care of as soon as we sat down which was nice cause we were on a time limit. Ordered burger fries and a chocolate peanut butter shake. Everything was very good. Food was hot and the shake was the icing on the cake for the meal. Try it out if you get to Nashville.
Elliston Place Soda Shop is an old Time Burger and Steak place located on Elliston Place near the Vanderbilt University Campus. When we went we got a Ruben Sandwich, (which is not always available) A Cheeseburger and a Cherry Milkshake... all of these are really good
Felt like I walked into a cool 50s diner. This place is amazing. Its clean, the servers are friendly what more could you ask for? Our server was Nick, he was super friendly! He made us feel right at home. The food is amazing. A variety of menu items for even the picky person. Their milkshakes are thick and taste amazing. I can't say enough about this place!
The Elliston Place Soda Shop is a lovely gem in Nashville. If you want some tasty morsels and a classic environment you should come by for an amazing meal. The original soda fountain is a treat serving up all sorts of classic sodas and ice cream. You can even ask for a mini tour of the soda fountain and learn why soda jerks got their name. You can also try the southern classic luncheon plate “meat and three” where you choose a protein and three southern sides! They also have a rotating protein for each day of the week.
