Reading similar experiences here. Totally congested area. Im sure once development is finished in 20 years the area will look nice. Stayed here 08/23 and while the room and view were good- the service was awful.
⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing and misleading This property is misleadingly presented as a hotel, but in reality it is not managed like one at all. There was no proper hotel reception handling our booking. We had to walk around multiple buildings because no block number or clear check-in instructions were provided. When we finally found a reception, they refused to help and told us to contact a private apartment owner instead. On arrival, we were even asked to pay cash, which was very unprofessional. ⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life – avoid at all costs This was without question the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I have traveled a lot. The location itself already feels depressing. The entire area looks like a construction zone that was never finished. Half-built buildings, cars parked everywhere with absolutely no place to park, constant chaos, stressed and tired people, and zero sense of order or hospitality. WORST PLACE EVER – Orbi SITY Block A! Total scam! We had a confirmed Booking.com reservation for 7 nights, made two months in advance. Upon arrival they shamelessly demanded more than DOUBLE the price – pure extortion! After driving 1600 km with our 5-year-old child, we were left literally on the street. Disgraceful for Booking.com to allow such fraudsters on their platform. Parking? Nonexistent, despite being advertised. Elevators? This is not a 100% hotel but a hotel complex where you rent an apartment (in our case it was a studio). We had everything we needed, the view was breathtaking! Yep, we had to clean the room ourselves, take out the garbage but as I said before - it was just a rented studio. The breakfast was brought to our room every morning by a local lady. The breakfast was very tasty balanced and sometimes even with extras (like a homemade cake). The lady was very polite and friendly. We lived on floor 20 (the reception was on floor 15). Definitely NOT recommended!!! DO NOT GO Don’t book via booking.com. They offer a big room for a low price, and once you get there you need to go to some room number 3743 in block A in the hotel which is “their office”. Then they tell you that there was a mistake and you actually booked a smaller room than it says on booking.com and you need to pay more!!! If you call them out on it they get mad and tell you to go away. BIG SCAM!!!! Basically they bought some appartemens and rent them particular via platfroms like booking.com. Scam via booking.com. Everything was booked correctly. He denies it and says it was booked incorrectly. We paid more and said it was a scam. Then we got 20 lari back. That's a sign that he accepted it. Hygiene is lacking. Everything is dirty and broken. They rent it from the apartment owner and will rent it out again. Definitely do not stay here!
I absolutely do not recommend this place. It was a complete disappointment and felt like a scam. My reservation was for 20–26 August 2024 (Confirmation No: 6198.299.494 / PIN: 3775). The hotel advertised that the pool was included, but upon arrival we were told the pool required an extra fee. We reported this issue many times — face to face, by message, and by email — yet they never even bothered to respond. The elevators to the rooms are a nightmare.
