If a tenant you buy brand new car and you're not registered within a few hours they will have a wrecker pick it up while you're sleeping like a thief in the night they don't care if it's a resident they will pick it up and then you miss work to go find your car. Of course the one return the money to you to all $250. This is a gated apartment complex so the wrecker has a key.
Bought a house here in 2019 and the initial experience was great. They are very attentive and responsive when going through the purchase process. That's about the end of compliments. Since then, I had a construction manager that wasn't very experienced cutting corners left and right, my move in was almost 2 months past the estimated date, and I had a TON of items that had to be fixed after I moved in. When a pretty serious issue was identified, one of the workers even told the construction manager that he wasn't comfortable fixing it the way he proposed because "it wouldn't pass inspection".…
We had a fairly good experience with them. The builder kept us updated all through the process and after move in there were issues but were resolved in a month and now everything is going well. Its a nice community and their floorplans are very nice. Overall we will recommend to families looking for their first homes. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.
My recommendation for new owners is to get everything done before the closing. It will save you a lot of headache, anxiety and missed calls and unresponsive emails. In summary we have to keep reminding Blackburn homes and following up and its been 5 months since closing and some of the owners occupation checking items are still remaining. These owners occupation checklist items were mentioned in the contract to be completed within 60 days of closing. I feel Blackburn is not making reasonable and good faith effort in fixing the Owner Orientation checklist items. Before closing everyone was…

I love this community as it is in center and accessible to all stores, super markets etc. We just moved in recently, homes are still under construction on this street and there is some noise pollution but so far so good!! Builder and construction engineer are pretty responsive when I requested for something from them after moving in.
House was delayed 3+ months, not counting COVID issues. Punchlist items still not completed 4+ months after move in. Getting no response from Blackburn regarding completion plan for punch list items AND 45-day items. Lack of communication is a huge problem!! Do not close on your house with Blackburn until everything is completed to your satisfaction as once they have your money they have no incentive to honor their promises. I love my floor plan and the location. I just want my house completed as promised.

Good location and homes. Very Very slow to respond to issues after closing. 3 Months and counting.
