We went in November and the front person said there would only be about 30 people there that day so it was great! Pool is not heated so I’m guessing that’s why it wasent busy but we still had a great time!
Southshore Bay Lagoon was such an amazing experience! We wanted to go to the beach but we didn’t want to have to drive an hour and a half away, so when I saw ads on Facebook and instagram, I had to bring it up. We went, had a blast on the obstacle course, and spent most of the afternoon sipping drinks at the swim up bar. Jay was amazing! Great attitude, super funny, and made some great drinks. 10 out of 10 would go again
The water was great. The liner was not attached to the pool floor so it felt weird walking on it. We went at 4pm on a Friday and it was empty. The ladies bathrooms were out of hand soap but I'm guessing it's probably just because it was the end of the day. Can't wait to go back and try the activities they offer.
We went today and had the best time! We got a cabana last minute (vs our tickets we got in advance). The lagoon was not crowded and the waits for any of the water “rides” we did were minimal. The only “negative” review - is that while I was at the cabana bar, I heard someone order a rum runner. It actually sounded good and I decided I would order one when it was my turn. However, I watched the bartender pour it. Her pour included light well rum only and grenadine and orange juice. That is NOT a rum runner and I feel like ordering that drink is automatically more than than just ordering a rum…

My experience the week (8/18) after school has started, due to less kids: I arrived at noon the park less than mediocren, I’d recommend going to any other location even the beach(cleawater or even bradeton), any but this. Very rude lifeguards and plenty of childish guards wondering about eating snacks not doing their job. My pair of $200 prescription glasses, aka my second pair of eyes literally, fell of during an attraction. Immediately after I informed multiple staff of my situation. I was told I CANNOT recover then myself and only can get them if an life guard FELT like looking for them,…
Kids had a blast. Paddle boarding, kayaking, and bumper boats plus the obstacle course. Sucks that you have to wait to do certain activities. They run them in waves. Float up bar was great. All the bartenders were awesome. Water needs a better filtration system, especially near the bar. Feathers and dead bugs surrounding you while you're sitting at the bar isn't exactly aesthetic.
Southshore Bay Lagoon offers a refreshing escape with crystal-clear waters and a spacious layout, perfect for relaxation and family outings. The variety of activities—like paddleboarding and water slides—keeps things fun, and the sandy beach adds to the tropical vibe. The facilities are generally well-maintained, and staff are friendly. However, entry fees and food prices can feel a bit steep, and weekends tend to get crowded, affecting the overall experience. If you go during off-peak hours, it’s a much more enjoyable visit. Overall, it's a great spot for a day trip, blending relaxation and…
I love coming here—it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the clean water. However, I do wish the service at the bars and food trucks was better, especially considering how expensive admission is. It would also be nice if the admission prices were more reasonable so my family could visit more often. I wouldn’t mind paying the higher cost if the services truly matched the price.
