Ugliest building I have ever seen - Guocoland’s quality has gone down the toilet. Will be very careful about buying one of their developments in the future. Zero thought given to design. Am not an owner but decided to write a review as I’m utterly ashamed as a Singaporean to have such a building within the central district. Poor owners.
Really nice open space with many tables for public to use. I like to come here and sit at a table The real shame is that they decided to close the public toilets for commercial use only. This is bad for a public space! If you want to open a space to the public, include the toilets also! Closest public toilet is down the escalator (next to kopifellas), through to Guocco midtown I (where the Porsche dealership is) So far they haven't closed this one to the public, and hopefully they will continue not to
The location is excellent, and the layout of the unit is very practical. However, there are many issues with the management. The shared facilities are covered in paint stains, and the corridors are in such poor condition that it’s hard to believe the building is fully completed. Several elevators are always out of service, so you constantly have to wait — and the buttons don’t respond well either. Two of the female concierges are unfriendly and condescending (though there are some kind and helpful staff members as well). Residents’ manners are poor; dogs frequently mark everywhere, and many…
Ugliest building Ive ever seen! I dont even live here, I drive and walk past it every week and im just disgusted. Guoco really destroyed their reputation with this one. Cheaped out internally and externally, carpark leaking water, facade looks like crap, interior looks straight out of taopao. Lucky I didn't buy a unit here. Please do due diligence if you planning on buying.

Utter disgusting experience at the carpark of this 'new' development. I have never encountered such scenario in Singapore before in new development. My friend and I saw this pipe bursts on the 2nd level of the carpark near tower 16 while walking to the public lift lobby and this poor car and the bike next to it were just covered with shit. We guess that the car and bike might belong to the residents upstairs. The whole place smells terrible now. Cheap quality building with bad QC. Beware if you decide to park here. It can happen to you.
There are seriously heavy renovation going on inside of the building (YES, not the outside, it could be the unit that shares your wall), and sounds like you are middle of the construction. They are saying loud noise will be only 10:00-16:00, but I’m stuck with this sound from 9:20 to 6. There’s nothing I could do about it. The concierge and management office were very kind, they tried what they could do, but it doesn’t solve the problem.
Midtown Modern is a thoughtfully designed development that really grows on you. At first glance, the exterior may seem a bit brown and muted compared to the usual glassy, reflective buildings in the CBD. But with time, you start to appreciate the intention behind it.
