⭐☆☆☆☆ This review describes my full experience from the first day to the final forced checkout. DAY 1: During our stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Sarasota Lakewood Ranch, we discovered dirty socks and a heavily soiled used towel under the sofa bed in our room. The condition of the towel was extremely unhygienic and clearly indicated that the room had not been properly cleaned. I immediately went to the front desk to report the issue. uring my current stay, I discovered dirty socks and a heavily soiled used towel under the sofa bed in my room. This alone indicates a serious housekeeping failure. When I reported this to the front desk, instead of resolving the issue, I was repeatedly asked whether I wanted to stay or leave the hotel. I clearly stated multiple times that I wanted to stay. I am a returning guest and have stayed at this hotel several times before, which is why I chose it again. We were in Sarasota for 1 night and as always wanted a clean, newer hotel near where we visiting. One of the things you can expect from a Hilton property is well trained, friendly and helpful staff. Good sized, very comfortable suite, excellent bed, shower and good towels. Breakfast and coffee good too. Near a shopping center with various places to eat. Maybe 10-15 minutes to the heart of Sarasota. Worth the stay.
One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Brand new everything . Comfortable couch and bed. The view can’t be beat . Can see all the holiday lights out the windows. Felt more like an apartment room than a hotel . Would absolutely love to return sometime .

This is a great hotel. The atmosphere is friendly and positive. The staff is very accommodating. We were there November 6th or 7th, 2025. Toni at the front desk went out of her way to find rooms for our family close together on the same floor, even though the hotel was very full.
Customer service excellent- Silvia happily changed our room at our request because we were originally placed near an elevator. Rooms are clean. Sleep quarters comfortable, but not quite 5 star. Breakfast options provide something for everyone, better than any hotel in this class. We highly recommend this hotel and we are often in the area on business, so we will return.
We hosted a meeting at the Homewood Suites and had an amazing experience! Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The team was professional, friendly, and incredibly accommodating — even making last-minute edits and adjustments for us without hesitation. The food was excellent, and the meeting space was set up perfectly. I truly appreciate all the effort Jennifer and the staff put into making our event such a success. Highly recommend this location for meetings or events!
