My experience with Strategic has been exceptional so far. They are putting in a good effort to respond to requests and action concerns in a timely fashion.
Absolutely terrible management/maintenance. Always left alone while needed! Even with the new manager ( Ali ) that was noted as someone responsible and communicative . Our floor is so dirty and no one cares! The only thing that matters is to notify residents for paying the rent on time ,but with no service in return! To be clear , LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND RESPONSIBILITY BUILDING!
Update 2: We have been living here for a year and a half, a huge number of workers have changed, but it has not gotten any better yet. Don't ask why we extended the contract, I ask myself this every day when I have to turn on the fan full blast because of the smell of cannabis or cigarettes in my apartment, a problem that no one even tries to solve. There is no point in even listing the other problems… We moved in in March and I already don’t have the strength to remain silent. Honestly, I tried to hold on. ***Update 3: Management did not continue to improve. There have been nearly a dozen property managers/maintenance techs since the new management took over. I have had to learn how to remedy any issues myself as maintenance calls go unanswered. I have been trying for nearly 3 days to reach someone about my non-functioning AC unit. I have now spoke to 2 people, emailed a third, and STILL received no communication at all. My suite is currently unlivable due to the temperature and I still cannot get a timeline of when someone will come look at the issue, but they did manage to send a blast email…

Just met the property manager, Andrea, at Marda and we couldn’t be more impressed! She went out of her way to meet us after hours and was incredibly accommodating during our move-in. The apartment was spotless, and she took the time to walk us through how all the appliances work. We truly felt welcomed and are so excited to call this place home!
I honestly don't think this place is meeting the minimum requirements of a business. No response to phone calls or online maintenance requests - they actively work to misdirect you and avoid your assistance. Pay almost $200/mo for parking and the amount of times I have been stuck outside and unable to park is ridiculous. Haven't been able to park for over a week, no one is getting back to me to solve the issue, though they sure are quick to take my $. Elevators reek and they don't care to reply to any requests. Marda is more focused on squeezing residents for money and actively avoids responding to resident requests. Some negatives I had while living here: - moved out due to a $420/month rent increase after my 1 year lease ended. - vomit in elevator for entirety of Thanksgiving weekend, despite direct phone calls as well as emails - deliveries taken from common area, no intervention or response from building management despite voicemail, email and rentcafe request - leak in ceiling, had to call several times to talk to someone only to not have the issue followed up on - pet friendly, though animal…
I don't even know where to start, my two-year tenancy with Marda was a nightmare. For starters, the units may look nice but poorly built with little to no soundproofing. I was told the building was soundproof when I moved in but you will hear your neighbors, and if your unit is facing original joes next door you will hear people partying and music blasting from the outdoor patio all night long during the summer months. During winter months I experienced brown water leaking from my ceiling, and when maintenance was sent in all they did to fix the problem was tell me to stop taking warm showers…
