  • Wow, what a LOVELY experience!! The hotel and views speak for themselves. This is a must see, must experience destination. Everything you could possibly need is on site. My husband and I never even left the property for 4 days. The restaurants are wonderful, there is something for everyone. There are many different restaurants throughout the property. The hospitality is truly one of the finest we've experienced. The manager for the restaurants and the central bar was superb. He was on site what seemed to be 24/7. He was very, very personable and I'm so ashamed that I do not have his name…
  • My husband and I stayed at the Gaylord for a conference and were very underwhelmed with our experience. To start, mobile check-in did not work. We were also supposed to receive a tax-exempt rate due to the type of conference we were attending, but the manager who was supposed to assist us completely stopped responding to my husband, which was extremely frustrating. Everything at this resort is extremely overpriced. An Old Fashioned made with the cheapest rye was $24. The food throughout the property was nothing special and certainly not worth the prices charged. We’ve had better meals for…
  • I can't say enough good things about this place. Hotel is huge, beautiful, clean, views in all directions and has all the amenities you could ever want. The room was super clean, very modern, comfortable, had all the things you could need in a room. The staff at the hotel was super nice, answered any questions that were asked and truly take care of any needs you may have. There are multiple restaurants and bars you can visit with delicious food and drinks. A spa, fitness center, arcade, pool/water park, mini golf course, basketball/tennis courts, yard games, outdoor chairs with fire pits and…
  • Wonderful resort with fun holiday activities for the family. The pool and water park are excellent. 4 stars because the parking situation is a mess. Parking is $33 a night and less hourly otherwise, if coming just for events. You must have your room key to get in and out of self parking and not have to pay additional fee. There is valet which is additional charge of course. Other than the parking situation this is a great resort. You must remember it is a luxury resort with prices and situations like a resorts (think Disney). Food and restaurants are more expensive than outside the resort and…

  • This property is absolutely stunning. I love all the artwork in the lobby, and the views are incredible. Came to see the ice experience and to see the Mrs. Claus show it did not disappoint. Sunshine was very professional, super sweet and very helpful. Kymbal was an absolute angel. The ice sculptures were absolutely incredible. It was a little bit chilly, but they have everything under control. They gave you the parka to go through the experience and let you take your time it was really neat to be able to go down the ice slide as well. The show with Mrs. Claus and snowflake was very cute. You…
  • The Gaylord Rockies is a gorgeous hotel. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was very nice, and the staff treated us fine. The pool area is nice for children. The fitness center is very large and well equipped. You might ask: if all of the above is so good, why only a 4 out of 5? 1. They are obviously understaffed. Wait times for all of the restaurants were long even though there were numerous empty tables. The checkin line was long as well. 2. Marriott Titanium elites get one $10 food credit per stay. No upgrade, no breakfast, no discounts on anything. Overall we were…
  • Great room. Nice people watching. Clean and new facilities. A large convenience store place named Marketplace was a huge plus, you can get coffee and many kinds of food. | There are 6 restaurants that ring the central bar, 2 were pretty bad experiences. The organic one gave us our money back on a skirt steak meal, if they knew it was crummy why serve it? A pizza wasn’t bad. Oh, they sent my salmon burger to the wrong table, it took forever and the server never checked on our drinks, needs. Then the Colorado restaurant served me a grilled sandwich that had been grilled in oil that was almost…
  • Positive: The water park/lazy river was by far the best part, but way too many people in the hot tubs Negative: The king room we stayed in was small & not impressive for nearly $---, after taxes and hotel fees. I?ve stayed in way nicer hotel rooms in a Vegas for half the price. The bathroom cleanliness was also lacking. Already getting grimy around the shower/sinks
