  • Cecil is a great upscale building. Modern appliances in small units as well. They have amenities to suite everyone. Staff are very professional and understanding. Location is a great mix of city and suburban. Thank you to Rob from the leasing team, he understood my dynamics and went above in helping me see Cecil as a home.
  • I had an opportunity to tour Cecil Bethesda Apartments on Sunday, February 28th, 2026 with Naomi. She was absolutely amazing and quite professional. She was definitely one of the reasons why I would like to live here. Excellent customer service, smiling and inviting. Knowledgeable, interested in helping all residents and guests, patient and an active listener. All important qualities when working with people. Jessica, Naomi is the type of employee who you want representing your company. Good job, Naomi!
  • We have lived at Cecil for over a year now and honestly couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Jessica does an amazing job with the events and truly has an eye for luxury, ensuring that you always have an upscale experience. Rob and Kunal are always pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. Whenever I’ve needed assistance or had questions, they’ve been more than willing to help. If they didn’t have an immediate answer, they always followed up to make sure I received one. Shalini, the previous APM, was amazing. She has the brightest personality and offers the warmest greetings. Professional and…
  • All through the night and all day long there's a terrible shaking that goes on in this building it often wakes me up in the middle of the night and can't get any sleep and It's so annoying that it shakes you through your body terribly I've talked to other residents about this problem and they can feel it too and sometimes it's such a strong vibration that it actually makes me feel sick to the stomach and ruins my whole mood the next day. The water pressure is so low that the dishwasher and washing machine don't work properly. Very loud and noisy also from outside traffic. Depending on what…

  • Cecil consistently failed to live up to the expectations of a luxury building. The property manager Jessica was consistently unavailable and unresponsive—often literally hiding in her office rather than addressing tenant concerns. Basic communication felt like an inconvenience to management. Even more troubling were policies and practices that felt discriminatory. Multiple interactions left us feeling singled out and treated differently in ways that raised serious concerns about bias. To make matters worse, our security deposit was withheld without a proper final invoice or itemized…
  • Cecil is a beautiful building, managed with exceptional care by Jess Harris. My daughter and I have been lucky to call this place home for a full year. Our lease actually began the first day the building opened on November 15th 2024 - and although we didn’t move in until Thanksgiving a couple weeks later, we’ve now experienced a complete year of living here. The staff is consistently warm, kind, accommodating and has always gone out of their way to be helpful and responsive. Kunal has been exceptional from our very first tour. He’s a true gem. Rob and Shalini (who was here earlier in the…
  • I have been living at the Cecil for a month now. I love it way more than any of my previous apartments. I love the appliances and built in shelving. All of my neighbors are really kind and sociable. The neighborhood is so walkable. It only takes me a few minutes to walk to Bethesda Row. The staff has been very helpful and supportive as well - Jess, Shalini, Kunal, Rob, Curtis, and Edwin. The resident events are well attended and fun! My favorite amenities are the fitness center and co-working space. The sunsets from my balcony are stunning. Overall, I am very pleased and can see myself…
  • Moving into an apartment is always tough, but the staff here made a breeze. They’re all super friendly and really make you feel part of a community. Huge shoutout to Jess, Rob, Kunal, Crystal and Shalini for always being so welcoming. And to the magicians Kurtis and Edwin! Always super responsive. Thank you! They’ve turned this place into a real home for me!
