My heat wasn't working, and Omar came over on Saturday for an emergency maintenance request. He spent several hours replacing my thermostat and fixing wires in the attic and the unit out back. I want to thank Omar for taking so much time on his day off to help me have heat in my house, which had gotten down to 58 degrees overnight, so he saved me from freezing over the weekend. Give the man a raise...thanks, Omar! :)
If you truly care about your pets, I would not recommend living here. For years, residents have raised concerns about the two yard areas, yet nothing has been resolved. Instead of maintaining healthy turf, the grass is soaked morning, noon, and night. The constant overwatering creates standing water that breeds bacteria, ants, and mosquitos. It’s unsafe for both pets and people—shoes sink and soak within seconds, and now dogs are becoming ill. I've been a tenant at the Happy Valley location for several years. When Patty was the Manager, she handled all tenant concerns efficiently and with care, even though she was the only person in the office. Unfortunately, since the new management team has taken over, the level of service has noticeably declined. Despite the high rent, the customer service does not reflect the value tenants are paying for. Communication is poor, and when issues are brought to their attention—often with photo documentation—the response is frequently defensive, dismissive, or accompanied by inadequate excuses. The…
All these reviews about the staff, technology package and grounds is spot on! Unfortunately…. If you work from home, do not rent here. If you do you will need to invest in a great hotspot. I attached a photo of the current satellite that feeds the entire community which is why you will need another streaming provider. Yes, it’s always open like this. To top it off, there is no emergency contact or support. Your AC goes out on a Friday, you will have no one contact you until you GO IN the office after 9am when they open. Look somewhere else!! This place keeps getting worse and worse. Leasing office is horrible at communication and I felt like I had to fight my way in to live here. Security system got a serious down grade and we are still paying full price for it. Started with an alarm system and control panel, now there’s no panel, no alarm system, and the new locks look horrible. TWO times in the last week, my packages were not in the right parcel locker. I would not recommend this complex to anyone unless you are okay with bad internet (almost daily), continuous issues with the office staff (never answers their phones and takes days to get back to you), paying for a gated community yet the gates are always open to the public, monthly fee’s outside of your rent that you have no choice in paying etc. as far at the unit goes, love the house. It’s a nice space and comes with a yard that is especially nice if you own dogs. This was a thoroughly disappointing experience. I've wanted to live at a Christopher Todd Community for awhile. The one on Happy Valley is truly horrendous. I applied for a unit, and got declined with perfect rental history and good income. Funny, they didn't even call me when I got declined. I had to call them a few times to get word. They said they would run it up the flag pole and speak with corporate about my application. 2 weeks has gone by with no word. Horrible management. Our lease was over March 28th and we were charged a cleaning fee along with a whole house painting fee . After reaching out multiple times, we finally got in touch with Patricia and discussed the issue. We were refunded back a check, but we have not yet received anything. Again I reached out to Patricia and still nothing. It’s been over 9 weeks since the check was sent . I reached out AGAIN and now she is no longer working there. Front office never answers which I never understood if the office was always empty. I definitely don’t recommend renting from this location.…
