I was not happy with my stay from the moment we got there we went to the pool area to try to have a good time for my daughters seventh birthday. They closed it down only after being able to use the slide two times we were not able to enjoy our evening. I understand that the weather is out of your control, but for somebody to go out of their way to spend time at this place there has to be something you can do. Not to mention when checking in our room it was 80° in there. The thermometer was not in working condition. They had to call maintenance to come up into our room and fix it because it…
Grove went major down hill since the first time we visit this place. The checking process takes forever since the staff is so slowwww! I had to wait in line to check in for 30 minutes and that too at 8pm! Staffs NEVER answer texts messages. I texted and called a million time regarding a noisy fan in the master bedroom- I need fan to sleep and yet NO ONE came. Until 3 days before we were leaving (we stayed 10 nights) and all he did was look at it and said I’ll be back with a ladder and never came back. Unbelievable! I’m currently staying at The Grove Resort on the Terrace side, and this has been a very disappointing experience. When I pulled back the sheets in my room, I found old stains that looked like blood. I called the front desk at least three times, and after being told “someone is coming,” all they did was drop off towels instead of the sheets I asked for. I ended up having to sleep on the uncomfortable pullout couch with my mom and son. The next morning housekeeping brought sheets but refused to make the bed until I demanded it. I had a really disappointing stay at The Grove. Right from check-in, the front desk staff seemed more interested in pointing out issues than actually helping me fix a reservation mistake. There was no sense of customer service or willingness to make things right. Unfortunately, that attitude continued with everyone else I interacted with — the pizza counter, the store clerk, the gate staff, even the manager. At one point, someone from housekeeping came to bring towels and started pounding on the door aggressively, even after I responded. It felt completely unnecessary and uncomfortable. They…

I traveled with my family from Southern California and had booked this resort months in advance—we were really looking forward to our stay. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The room did not meet our expectations: the flooring was cracked and lifting as we walked, the microwave didn’t work, and the advertised shuttle service—which was supposed to run every 30 minutes—was unreliable. I emailed the hotel with my concerns on the first day, but I never received a follow-up or even a courtesy check-in from management. Given the price, I would not recommend…
Lovely spot to spend a vacation. The place is huge and the water slides awesome. I was amazed by the lovely rooms and the design. Friendly and helpful staff, good parking etc. Also many food places are located like 10 minutes drive away. Not much photo was added since some better ones are already posted. Only downside was some little things like no dish washing sponge, no broom/brush, non working hair dryer and the biggest, a non working clothes dryer. Had to resort to the sun for drying (I did not want to waste time reporting since it was limited).
We stayed at The Grove previously and had a wonderful time. The Terrace at The Grove is fairly misleading because it makes you think it’s within The Grove, but it’s not close to all the amenities of The Grove. The walls are paper thin. We’ve heard neighbors tromping around all hours of the night. Check in is at 4pm and our room wasn’t ready til 5:30. They told us they’d call us when it was ready, but never did. We stayed at the Terraces May 3-6. My first frustration is that they go through great lengths to camouflage the fact that you’re not actually staying at the Groce Resort. For example, our keycards didn’t even say the Terraces and when I first started the reservation process I was looking for the Grove. But honestly that would have been fine if the room we were given hadn’t been totally dirty. We arrived for early check-in and at first I even wondered if getting a dirty room was normal since we were there before the 4pm checkin. Well it’s not.
