We had a fantastic time escaping from the Simcoe Arms Hotel. It's an old school game filled with fun and challenging puzzles. The staff were great and everything worked perfectly. The tips were offered at just the right moments, and were just enough to get us back on track when we got stuck. Look forward to playing there again on our next visit to Barrie. Smiles and laughter for the whole family!

I have been going to Escape Room Barrie since they opened and have ALWAYS had an amazing experience. Their rooms are challenging while also still providing great flow throughout the game, and with how many escape rooms I've done I'll tell you it is not easy. The staff are always so friendly and obviously enjoy their jobs as they put their heart and souls into it too! Out of all the places in Barrie, this is the best place to go for a date night out, friends night or even for your proposal! We had an amazing time at this escape room! The puzzles were challenging, but still fun and doable with teamwork. The staff was super friendly and explained everything clearly before we started. The room design and details really made us feel part of the story. Definitely one of the best escape rooms we’ve tried — can’t wait to come back and try another one!

Took 4 13 y.o. girls into their gumshoe room for a birthday party. Great experience! Staff were very warm and friendly. Toalk to the girls not down to them. Very helpful. Room was a blast! Couldn't have asked for better.

I took a group of 4 teens (16) here for a birthday party, they had a great time. They completed the room called 'Gumshoe', which they said was challenging but fun. The staff was very friendly and everyone enjoyed themselves. I will definitely be back and would recommend this for anyone looking for an escape room experience. A great local business!

Great experience! The escape room was amazing and had an incredible time. The room itself was challenging, interactive, while not being overwhelming. Every person working had a great personality and provided welcoming service. We got the pleasure of having Jay guide us, and he was just perfect!

Fantastic experience. My husband and I did Gumshoe for a date night... it was a great experience from beginning to end. The staff were lovely and there's a great space to wait, browse board games, and have a refreshment .. But the room itself was the standout. Really clean, great instructions, helpful hints, and a clearly visible countdown clock.... super satisfying reveals... A+!! We'll definitely be back again. Ps: don't forget to remove any eyewear that belongs in the rooms before you leave. 😉

Great little escape room place on the north side of Barrie. We had a group of 11 people split into 2 rooms. My group did the Gumshoe mystery. It was a lot of fun! We cleared it with a few minutes to spare, the first one I've ever managed to complete lol. A good choice for people who've never done one before. Would go again!
