Had potential to be a 5 star condo, however over the past year we (and many other units) have experienced consistent issues with the AC. The HVAC has been unable to properly regulate temperature <23 Celsius, more recently temperatures are unable to go below 24 Celsius. Property management and Tridel seem to be unable to fix the issue. Updates have also been vague and infrequent. Unfortunate as the community is otherwise very good!
Where is the diversity in the front desk staff? Why is it only Indian employees. Diversity is mandatory everywhere. Why is Del Rentals not held to the same standard. If they were good for at their job it be one thing. But they are absolutely useless. The lady who works there is exceptionally rude. Avoid her at all costs.
25° inside unit. Can't get a hold of anyone to fix. Dryer doesn't work. It's been 2 months... Microwave didn't work earlier. Had a leak from water line into my freezer as well.
I live in 450 Front St which is right across the street from this building and my balcony faces their outdoor terrace. This building needs to enforce some type of quiet hour or have their amenities closed at a certain time because people are outside on weekdays blasting music, screaming and laughing really loud, sometimes until 2-3AM in the morning. I know for a fact it’s not from people on their own balconies as I’ve been woken up due to the noise and have looked down to see people on the terrace in the middle of the night. There is animal urine, vomit and poop stains all over the place including the lobby/elevator entrance. One day I interrupted Kevin from his job of sitting at the concierge desk to tell him that there was vomit in my elevator on the way down and two puddles of urine that I had to step over in the doorway to exit the elevator waiting area. He said that he knew and seemed confused that I was informing the concierge about it. I came back 3 hours later and it was still there. They also sent my TV delivery driver away because I didn’t book a move in for my TV.
This condo is great, all the staff are excellent, all except for the one female concierge they have at the front desk. I lived in 3 other tridel buildings. Have met endless concierges over the years. This lady has been by far the worst I have ever met. Her personal goal is to make things difficult, half the time she isn't there or playing games on her phone. And will fully ignore residents. She is impossible to work with and makes any task no matter how small a headache. The sad thing is is that all other staff in the building are absolutely top notch. I don't understand how they let her keep…
This condo is impressive and nice, however, the female concierge was quite impolite, which repeatedly led to uncomfortable situations for me. Her lack of proper knowledge about the condo made me double-check everything myself. It seems some additional training for the staff could improve the experience.
Professional Condominium. Well staffed to accommodate the needs of an average Toronto citizen. Clean and upscale. Lots of stores and conveniences nearby.
