Volvo's approach to servicing and customer service requires an overhaul. We had an issue with our autostart. First visit to dealer servicing was for 'diagnostics'.... basically confirming what we had already told them. This took close to three hours. Not once during that time was an offer of a place to sit and work made let alone an offer of a coffee. The team were extremely confident that the issue would be fixed before Christmas. This did not happen. We had to chase once the NY had arrived, only to be advised, that the part had arrived....we just needed to be booked in. We then get a…
I love my Volvo, but they make any effort to have classic problematic parts. The 4 times I needed parts never had in Australia, not even Sidney. Then they promised a deliver in 4 months. Yesterday quaote a cheap classic problematic part, that suit many Volvo's, and always the same, no parts available in Australia. My only left option is to sell a car wrecked or wait almost half year to fix the car if you count with Volvo dealers around Australia. Sadly will never buy the brand here again...
We picked up our new XC60 today. Mark Jones did an excellent job, we were very glad to see him again, he sold us our last car, also an XC60, at Sunshine Volvo, who gave up their dealership a few months ago. I have a lot of confidence in the new dealership, they also distribute Bentley and Maserati. I bought my first Volvo in 1971, and have had quite a few over the years. This new XC60 seems to be a pretty good car!
Service department might have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, and the lady down there needs to learn how to control her tone, so rude and overall off putting and not welcoming at all. Honestly she was degrading. A real pocket full of sunshine’s and rainbows

Just got my first Volvo XC60 PHEV from Gold Coast Volvo. I am very happy with their Service. Great customer service and on-time delivery. Paige was excellent in sorting out all the paperwork and smooth delivery. She did the initial test drive with us and on the delivery day went through all the set ups and infotainment installations. Answered all my questions and followed up with phone call to ensure everything was fine. I would give her 5/5 stars.
This is a bit of a weird one, we didn't visit this place to buy anything. We live in a rural town and my son has a massive fascination with McLaren, we were walking by and saw them through the window so I took him in to look at them. I explained to the staff and they were extremely friendly and understanding, they even opened up the car so my son could get a good look inside and take some lovely photos. Thank you to the staff that made my sons day and allowing us into your showroom just for the experience of seeing an exotic and very beautiful piece of machinery.
I couldn’t have felt more welcome during my recent car service. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything was completed smoothly without any issues. The service was reasonably priced, and the staff were professional yet personable. Thank you, Sophie—I truly appreciate your exceptional level of service.
Update: Volvo Australia has asked dealership to provide me with a brand new XC40. Car picked up at 22/07/2023. I’m happy with this solution. Terrible service. I purchased a brand new Volvo XC40 on 12/05/23, drive only 2 weeks (less than 300km) and the car was having issue with the transmission (turtle sign showed and engine light on) effecting the drivability. Car towed to Volvo Gold Coast on 21/05, and now it’s been there for 2 weeks. Called service team multiple times, but they can’t provide me any update, I doubt it’s a major fault and 2 weeks past they are still diagnosing the issue. Also…
