  • We Loved The Perch. In the 2 months we’ve been in the desert we have been to The Perch at least 6,7,8 times. We’ve brought friends and family here. The vibe, the view and best of all the appetizers…The Hummus with lamb bacon is to die for. Tonight we were told that item/menu is no longer available at The Perch. We will no longer be visiting The Perch and tell others to go elsewhere. It’s sad they had a good thing going and ruined it. Plus tonight tables were full of empty glasses and dishes and were short handed. We had to clear our own table and wipe it. Improvement is needed.
  • I can’t say much about the rooms, but I can say I had an amazing experience here. We were recently in Palm Springs staying at an Airbnb and had to check out at 10 a.m., return our rental car at 2 p.m., and then deal with flight delays that left us with a very long wait. Not wanting to spend 10 hours at the airport, we stopped by the hotel hoping we could at least store our luggage. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by accommodating us and securely holding our three large suitcases until 7 p.m. When we returned to pick them up, they were once again helpful and…
  • I stayed at the new Thompson Hotel in Palm Springs for a friend’s birthday and was genuinely excited, having previously stayed at the New York City and Seattle Thompson locations without any issues. In those stays, the hotel teams were proactive and genuinely tried to make things right when problems arose.||||Unfortunately, that was not the case at the Palm Springs location.||||At check-in, the room already showed signs of neglect: a stained pink bench, hair in the bathtub, and hair on the bathroom floor mat. This immediately raised concerns about cleanliness—especially for a hotel that just…
  • We really enjoyed our weekend at this hotel. It is a pretty lively place. I would agree with others that said Friday and Saturday were hopping. Sunday afternoon was pleasantly quieter. Overall, we appreciated the variety. This location is perfect for a weekend getaway. Close to the airport, steps to many downtown options/activities, and lots to take advantage of at the resort. Everything was comfortable and accommodating. We especially appreciated the poolside service, workout room, brunch, bikes and yoga. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. We would gladly return!

  • The style and decor of the Thompson Hotels are above and beyond most any hotel for the money. Beautifully appointed with modern art. Rooms are always beautiful and modern. The staff from front desk to bar to restaurant were all very helpful. The hostess at the restaurant/bar even helped us look up an outside place for breakfast since we had eaten breakfast there for two days already and wanted to explore. All the food and drinks at Thompson's gorgeous bar and restaurant were wonderful. The bar there is one of my favorites of any hotel–roomy and beautiful. We never had to wait long for drinks.…
  • The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and clean. With the mountain backdrop, it really feels like an upscale resort. The “Upper Stories” section had very nice rooms with great views, and the complementary social hour was a nice touch—the house wine, popcorn, pretzels, and chocolate-covered fruit were appreciated. Additionally, the hotel restaurant is fantastic. I went there for breakfast and for dinner one night and really appreciated the delicious food and the great service there. However, despite the beautiful design, the property misses the mark in several areas. The balcony doors are…
  • Strengths: excellent staff, the valets and car service were friendly and helpful as was the front desk staff, who were super helpful. Lola Rose was a great experience- had an amazing drink and dinner. Weaknesses: my room was nice but it was very loud- the building construction is lightweight and there was no to little soundproofing. The room was so noisy that I had to use earplugs to sleep, which thankfully I’ve learned to travel with. Overall, it is a nice hotel which is carried by the strength of it's staff. I prefer quieter locations so would not stay here again unless there are quieter…
  • I cannot speak more highly about this hotel. I checked with in with my mother who has mobility issues. We booked an accessible suite and was upgraded when they saw us and decided we would be better in a larger room. Greg from customer service and Pavel the director of rooms have gone so far and above for us, I can not say enough words to describe my gratitude. When we asked for a toilet chair to assist with my mother, they realized they didn’t have one in the hotel and went out and bought one for us. This is the best service and hospitality either of us have ever received. The hotel is…
