Hoyt & Horn was an incredible place to live. Safe, well maintained, and management and services are incredibly responsive. Would definitely recommend. only moved out due to external circumstances, otherwise would still be living there.
Pros: Location is great. Tons of subway access, especially for Brooklyn. The building is right next to Coble Hill and Boreum Hill. So even though it is technically in downtown bk you still get a little bit of a neighborhood vibe Staff is very responsive and having a doorman building is nice The apartments feel high quality Cons: The shared venting results in a lot of cigarette smoke coming into your apartment. An awesome apartment complex to live in, located in the perfect spot! A nice neighborhood, close to so many subway stations and great areas to walk around, explore, visit and shop at. Quiet welcoming atmosphere, attentive, friendly and helpful management, the maintenance staff and doormen are the absolute best there are! Great amenities, a fantastic gym, rooftop access, conference room and game room! The units are all very well kept, very comfortable and spacious with well conceived cozy layouts and nice views! This is the best place to live. I’ve lived here since the beginning. Never have felt so cared for and safe in a community of New Yorkers. This is the place to live if you want to feel the spirit of DoBro. Truly a wonderful community of people brought together by our enthusiastic concierge staff.

I’ve been living at Hoyt & Horn since 2018, and it’s been a great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I love how quiet my apartment is. The view from the rooftop is amazing, and the gym is always clean — plus, it even has a yoga room, which I use a lot.
I've had multiple packages stolen from this building, and the management has been unhelpful in addressing the issue. The thief appears to be very familiar with the building's layout and operations, which raises serious concerns about whether it could be a resident or even a staff member. This is a significant safety and security issue that affects all tenants. I strongly urge the management to take immediate action by installing security cameras, improving package delivery protocols, and investigating these incidents thoroughly. Until these problems are resolved, I cannot recommend this…
I want to express my gratitude to the Hoyt & Horn staff for their outstanding assistance during my whole stay here. Ronald was really helpful from the moment I started the leasing process, and I appreciate the conversations and support from Greg, Mike, and Alejandro at the front desk for anything they could do. The management and porters have been excellent and responsive. I truly appreciate everyone's assistance and guidance. Will miss our home and wish y'all the best to the entire Hoyt & Horn staff
Lived there seven years and this will forever remain the best place we ever had. A heartfelt thank you to the staff, Alejandro, Mike, Antonio, Greg, Jose, Brandon, who made it feel like home. Y'all are family to us and we will miss you tremendously.
