I had hand surgery with Dr. Hess and Anthony PA on January 27, 2026. The entire experience was fantastic. Every person I met on the day of the surgery was incredibly kind and compassionate. I was quite nervous, but everyone went out of their way to make me feel at ease. I asked numerous questions, and not a single person was annoyed or dismissive of my concerns. I made sure to remember everyone’s names: Diane, Lisa, Naydine, Karen, and Sam. They are true gems 🫶🏻
They bring you in early. Make you sit over hr then check you in using time they call you to register and sit down for more. 2 plus hrs and not in back for prep yet. Terrible for patients. Avoid
I arrived at 1:45(for a 2:15 appt) for a 3 min CT scan. I sat for 2 hrs and watched 8 people get called to the back(six which arrived after me). I realize that different procedures are going on in the back, and I'm not one to raise a ruckus, but damn. When I heard them call the little lady that JUST arrived(for a CT scan) I had to finally speak up. They simply forgot about me, while sitting within eyeshot of the check in counter. I finally left at 4pm.
My wife has been a patient there for over 4 years with multiple procedures and not great results - and yes I know "each patient is different". As if that's not enough, they've been experiencing "growing pains" the past 2 years - constantly having new inefficient, often rude, desk staff and telephone "support". Last minute appointment cancellations (as in when you show up for a scheduled appointment they have no record) - which often means over a month delay to reschedule. My son suffered a sports-related knee injury last year, which led us down a long road of physical therapy, surgery, and more therapy afterward. Throughout this journey, we’ve been to multiple FOI locations, and I can say with complete confidence that this organization prioritizes profit over patient care. I've witnessed firsthand how they operate—ranging from pressuring patients to flat-out disrespectful behavior. The level of care and compassion you'd expect simply isn't there. It’s been a frustrating and disappointing experience every step of the way.
I had an outstanding experience at this surgical center. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, kind, and compassionate. My nurse, Hannah, was exceptional—she walked me through every step, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable. Dr. Simmons, my anesthesiologist, had a gentle touch, a great sense of humor, and went above and beyond to make sure I was at ease. My Mom recently had a Wrist Surgery at this center and was blown away by the outstanding care and compassion shown by the doctors, nurses, and entire staff. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease. The doctors were knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to thoroughly explain my procedure. My 4 year old broke her arm and we saw Dr Nydick, he was wonderful with her and I felt like he genuinely cared. Always answered any questions I had. My daughter was upset and scared at times and he was very patient and kind. The X-ray area gave her crackers and water. The office staff brought her lollipops. The whole staff was really kind to us. I don't have anything bad to say.
