I had a very frustrating experience at 700 Building in Santa Monica. I was standing at the reception for quite some time and there was no one there. No sign, no notice, nothing. I eventually decided to leave because it felt unprofessional to keep waiting without any communication. As I was already walking away, Josue (J-O-S-U-E) suddenly came out and called me back. Instead of apologizing for not being present, he told me that I “should have waited” because he would have come. That response felt dismissive and disrespectful. This building markets itself as a luxury residence, yet residents paying five figures per month are forced to share core amenities with Equinox members. That decision alone completely undermines the value proposition. Even with the building not at full occupancy, it’s nearly impossible to get a sun chair on your own rooftop because Equinox members flood the space. The hot tub is constantly full. What’s being sold as a private, high-end residential experience currently feels like a public social club attached to a gym. It’s hard to understand how this was approved without a clear capacity…
Such a beautiful property, Janeth Latin was incredible to work with my husband and I Are looking into the next chapter and hope to make this our new home in the near future! It’s individuals like Janet that really inspire us to make the move with her friendliness and kindness And consideration without feeling pressured.
Just toured 700 Broadway and loved it. The community is gorgeous, the units all have state-of-the-art appliances, and the amenities are next-level— gym, private bowling/theater room, pet wash, a rooftop cold plunge/dry sauna, and an amazing zen-like interior park that feels like an escape from Downtown Santa Monica. Being above Vons, Starbucks, and Equinox is also a huge plus. Highly recommend asking for Christopher Jones in the Leasing Office —he was knowledgeable and super helpful.

Really enjoy living at 700 Broadway. Love the new Equinox, probably the nicest gym in the country. New Vons is another great onsite amenity, thrilled with their high-end product offering (amazing wine/liquor selection). Co-working lounge is beautiful (work there almost daily). Can't believe how peaceful and quiet the courtyard feels, love the olive trees.
I have just toured 700 Broadway, with leasing agent Christopher Jones, the tour was an absolute pleasure, starting from smooth valet and then security-concierge welcome! Chris was professional, truly responsive, and genuine attentive throughout the tour and easy to communicate with! The building itself looks like is a really comfortable high end place to live, with a nice mix of modern yet natural materials finishes and a calm, welcoming tastefully designed atmosphere. Saw this building on an instagram video with a bunch of negative people online (as usual), which they clearly brought to the review page here. I live in Santa Monica, so I had to comment - We want this building here! People are mad online because they can't afford these..... but, they probably don't live in SM. It’s exciting to see new developments that can bring more energy, opportunity, and investment into the community. Projects like this strengthen our local economy and support the programs and services that make our city such a great place to live. I can’t wait to see this place thrive!
Toured and this is a beautiful building. The interior design, the lounge areas and the rooftop pool views and features are outstanding. As a local, I’m excited for this kind of place to come to Santa Monica because we want to keep building the city and keep the city’s charm. This is a wonderful addition to the community
