I visited the hotel for an ocular and was impressed by the property and the staff overall. However, the reservations team and front office would benefit from additional training, particularly in the communication and booking workflow. Their responsiveness and customer‐service skills still need improvement. It’s unfortunate because the hotel itself is beautiful, but the current gaps in training—especially in handling basic documentation and booking procedures—make the reservation process challenging.
The management should not allowed booking for 5 pax in a room. Room is very small for 5 people. Bathroom is very small. Terrace is not properly cleaned. Food is not delicious and very small portion. However bar is good with attentive personnel.
We only got to dine and it was a superb experience. The staff is very attentive.service was so fast. Food was outsanding. Will definitely come back.
Stayed here for an official business. Overall it was a nice hotel. Every thing in our room works and it was clean when we checked in. The convention hall is also nice tho the airconditioning can be too cold. Pool area is nice too you can do laps here. The location is a bit far from the city tho so be sure to have your necessities with you before you check in. Not 5 star because we experienced power outage for almost 30 mins during our 3rd night. They should have a backup generator or something.

I am a retired Automotive Executive, and now I spend a lot of free time traveling the Philippines reviewing hotels and restaurants as “The Jamaican Traveler “on TikTok. I have never experienced such terrible customer service at a hotel before. I made a reservation at this hotel through Expedia travel, and within minutes after booking the trip I tried to cancel it due to their location. I have stayed at thousands of hotels over the years, this is the worse experience that I have ever had. If you are thinking about staying here, think twice!
Wifey's experience at Suelo Restaurant: My family and I recently had dinner at Suelo Restaurant at Soto Grande Resort, and overall, it was a delightful experience! First off, kudos to the kitchen team — the food was truly impressive. We especially enjoyed their sisig, beef steak, and bulalo — all flavorful and cooked just right. My father also raved about their crispy pata, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Their desserts, particularly the turon and ube cheesecake, were a sweet highlight to end our meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth noting —…
Nice place to stay, staff are courteous if inexperienced. Pricing in some cases seems extravagant, making no sense. Corkage is 2000 pesos, three times what UK would charge. We were told 5000 originally which is more than a cost of a room for one night. Whiich is stupid and an own goal if you are trying to encourage clientele. Bar closed at 9pm, opens 11am. No food service after 9pm Doesn't seem ready as a few gaps in service and lack of knowledge in some charges - pointing to inexperience or still learning as still new.
I specifically would like to commend the front desk officer, Cess, who was very helpful on my needs. She went out of her way to assist me when I was looking for a hairdresser and make-up artist in the area she could recommend since I was in the area for the first time to be a wedding sponsor. Love the ambience and piano music at the lobby. Room was so clean. Just that I find the restroom to be a little small. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent. The male Manager there, however, just needs to wear a smile. :-) Over-all, our experience was great. Will definitely recommend…
