  • It’s frustrating to be deceived out of your own money. Three months ago, I had an unpleasant experience with the parking management team — they were unresponsive and unhelpful. I left my honest review here. Of course, I received a polite reply saying that everything had been resolved. The manager, Andrea, also responded personally and promised compensation for the inconvenience. And now, three more months have passed. I continue to follow up with her about the compensation — and get nothing but silence in return. Typical Upten behavior: issues are ignored, tenants end up losing money, and…
  • I just recently moved into the building and I can’t say enough good things about the move in process and experience. Andrea and Annette were so accommodating and welcoming. I love the back loading dock it made the move in so quick and easy. I have a few friends looking for a new rental community and will be referring them.
  • First off let me say a big thanks to Alanis for all the help and trying to make our lives easier and better. Thanks to Concierge as well for trying to help ease the situation. No thanks whatsoever to Andrea. I am very livid by the lack of care for tenants when it comes to URGENT matters. My girlfriend and I have just moved in roughly 2 weeks ago. We received an early move in date, for the lease to begin on November 1st. Tell me how much this would piss you off also. If we were to have moved in on November 1st, we would have been flooded the very FIRST DAY of us moving into our new home. This…
  • Dear Apten Management, I am utterly exhausted and disheartened living in your building. It's truly unfortunate that the lease cannot be terminated early. Not only are the elevators a constant issue — severely affecting daily life with delays and waits up to 20 minutes — but for the past two weeks, I’ve also been living with a completely clogged kitchen sink. I cannot use my dishwasher, because it pushes the water back into the sink and it overflows. Is it really acceptable to charge such rent for living in these conditions? Or should I just run the dishwasher, flood the downstairs neighbors,…

  • I’ve been living in UPTEN for 2 years, and this September will mark my 3rd. Overall, it’s been a pleasant experience. Although I’ve faced a few delays due to the elevators—and was once extremely upset when I couldn’t get a lift during the evening rush—I’ve come to accept that elevator issues are an inevitable problem in most high-rise buildings like UPTEN. After doing some research, I realized that moving to another building wouldn’t guarantee a better elevator situation. Aside from that, I’m completely satisfied with everything else—the location, the view, and the helpful staff. I’ve always…
  • I’ve lived at UPTEN for about four years (2021-2025), and overall, it’s been a great place to live! It’s right in the center of downtown, offering great views and easy access to everything, especially during the Stampede. The apartments are clean, and the concierge service is awesome. The third floor of the building is a fantastic place to work, with free coffee and a great gym. Over the years, I’ve noticed that the quality of living here depends a lot on the building managers. Fortunately, the current managers, Andrea and Ally, are excellent and have really improved the building. The…
  • Gosh, I absolutely loved this place when I first moved in!! Don’t ignore the negative reviews- I’m glad I waited to write mine. PROS- • The top floor View. It is my favorite part of living here. • The Concierge Team. They will make your life easier. • The Cleaning Staff. With dogs at full capacity here, the cleaners are constantly having to wipe up pee and paw prints in the hallway and elevators and clean up after the ghetto tenants. (This is also a Con of living here) • The Fitness room. It’s awesome. • The Coffee/Latte Machine. Well..at least it breaks down far less than the Elevators……
  • I have been calling The UPTEN home now for nearly three years, and I absolutely adore it here. I have been the only one to live in my space since they opened, and I think that's really cool. No plans on going anywhere else as my cat and I have settled in quite comfortably. A vibrant community, close to everything you need downtown (events, restaurants, amenities, nature/the river, library, dog parks, etc.) and an overall classy and uplifting experience. Staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive and the 24/7 concierge service provides safety and accommodation on a level like no other I've…
