Moved in for more than half a year already in the Journal, what I’m most surprised about is the maintenance team being efficient and responsive. Lennox did an excellent job fixing a wall leak and repairing/painting the damaged area. He was professional, detail-oriented, and very easy to communicate with throughout the process. He clearly explained what needed to be done, worked efficiently, and paid attention to the small details. The final finish looks clean, smooth, and like new. Highly recommend Lennox and the maintenance team if you need reliable, high-quality repair work.
I want to give a huge thank-you to the entire concierge and front desk team for making my move-in experience so smooth and welcoming. Living here has truly been one of the best housing decisions I’ve ever made. All the doormen are incredibly kind and genuine, and I especially want to say a huge thank you to Rhonda Fenton. One day I got lost and accidentally walked into another building that was still under construction. I felt unfamiliar and a bit helpless, but she was so warm and patient, guiding me all the way out. I’ve had an amazing experience living in this apartment community. The building is well-maintained, clean, and feels safe and welcoming. The amenities are top-notch and thoughtfully designed, making everyday life comfortable and convenient. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the maintenance team. I honestly cannot explain how wonderful 36 Journal Square is but I will try. I only came for a vacation but ended up wanting to live here. I would like to start with the Concierge - from the moment I walked in I was welcomed in such a wonderful way and through the duration of my stay there wasn’t anything that was too much for them. Alexa, Nicole, Sam, Kira and sorry for anyone I forgot to mention were unbelievable. I moved into The Journal at the beginning of August. This move has been an impressive upgrade with a beautiful apartment, an amazing view and fun and useful amenities. What takes this community to the next level is the staff. I first met Andy from the leasing office to tour the building before it opened giving me the chance to tour all the floorplans offered. Andy has been great even after signing the lease. Aisha and Nichole have efficiently handled everything I have needed from the management office. German, Cam and Brian have gone above and beyond to respond quickly to maintenance issues.…
The whole building has such a warm, welcoming vibe, everyone’s super friendly and it already feels like home. The amenities are amazing: basketball courts, golf simulator, gym, pool, sauna, podcast room, climbing wall, bowling alley, and so many cozy spots to chill or get some work done. Everything’s modern and well-kept, and it honestly makes everyday life feel a little bit like a staycation. Couldn’t be happier!
We just moved into the building this month, and I want to give a huge thank you to Gary, German (Service Manager), Gardy, and George (Dockmaster). This month has been an especially busy move-in period, but they have been incredibly hardworking and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us with moving our belongings and always did so with such a positive and friendly attitude. Their professionalism and kindness made our move so much easier and really created a welcoming experience. Truly appreciate all their efforts!
