Samantha McMurray is an amazing Manager! She is highly competent, experienced, respectful, personable and easy to work with! Samantha is already highly regarded by the residents and makes living here easy and enjoyable! SLC is fortunate to have Samantha on the Team!
STUNNING PROPERTY because the Maintenance Team (Sean B and Toby T) make it happen on a daily basis. Masters of all Trades; consistently resolving Resident & Management issues.
I was really disappointed with my experience here. The biggest red flag is the constant turnover of staff, it feels like there’s someone new every time you need help. Because of that, service is inconsistent and issues rarely get followed through. It’s frustrating when basic customer service (something you’re paying a premium for) isn’t reliable. I do want to note: Sean and Toby go out of their way to mitigate any maintenance issues and have been great, but upper management clearly struggles to get it together. This is a stunning property!!!! As soon as I walked through the door I immediately felt at home and knew this was the perfect place for me! Shae was so helpful and made sure we found the right studio for me.

Society at Lauren’s is a stunning property that feels like a boutique hotel while preserving Charleston’s historic charm. The concierge is exceptional, and the walkable location paired with beautiful Charleston Harbor views makes this place truly special.
Sean Bonner and Toby Turner are outstanding young men - responsible and capable beyond their years. I have only resided at Society for seven weeks and already they have set themselves apart with diligence and willing to help with anything maintenance or moving-in related within my apartment. I love living at The Society @ Laurens! I moved in last year and have been enjoying the events arranged by the fabulous staff and meeting wonderful neighbors! It’s nice to be a part of a vibrant community in the vibrant city of Charleston!
We just moved into Society at Laurens but so far everything has far exceeded our expectations. Maddy provided exceptional service since our first tour. She was incredibly patient and very responsive when answering all of our questions and ensured our move in experience was smooth and as stress free as moving can possibly be. In addition, Sean and Toby on the maintenance team have been fantastic. We had some maintenance items on our list before moving in and they were all completed and the unit looks great. They have been incredibly responsive and the entire building is very well maintained…
