Fire alarm likes to go off randomly between 2am-5am. Has been doing this for years
Never in my adult life have I experienced fire alarms going off this constantly. This building has alarms sounding almost every single month, usually in the early hours of the morning, and it is never for an actual fire. It is always for the most idiotic reasons imaginable, which makes it even more infuriating considering the building is supposed to be new. If you have children, they will be woken up repeatedly and left terrified. If you have pets, the relentless alarms will absolutely traumatise them. It is disruptive, stressful, and exhausting. If you make an appointment to look at an apartment, make sure you confirm right before you get there that the apartment is still available. They'll rent it and not let you know. Don't waste your time. The building looks like some old communist style building with super cheap building materials and small cramped space and trying to cram as many units as physically possublem Save your time and look elsewhere unless you are looking for this kind of place! Mega construction every direction your apartment could possibly face. Run!
Ridgewood Place does not care about people with disabilities, students, or any in the underprivileged class. I know this because of their abusive treatment of my family member with autism. They initially rented us an excellent unit with a view of the city, and then changed their minds and put us in the "fish bowl". This was a horrible experience for my brother, who has autism, and for me. Ridgewood Place was extremely mean to my brother the entire time he was there. They posted collective punishment style notices threatening mass fines and evictions over small matters like dog poop and items…

If you would like to find your final destination in the summer time this may be your place. Every year the temp rises above 25 degrees the elevator forgets to work properly as we descend 1-3 floors without warning . Great news, it’s just like the tower of terror, without the expensive Disneyland costs. To top this off, if you do make it out alive. There is NO STAIR ACCRSS to get back up, for your loves ones. That is all. The worst place to throw your 80 % of your income too. not to forget they promised full time security which has been cut to weekend only. Full of broken promises.
I absolutely love my place and am so glad I took that first step of booking a tour/info session with Byron. The management team members are so kind, professional, and approachable. I feel very safe in the building and thank the security team very much for that. The amenities are amazing, the location is fantastic, and the building is clean, modern, and everything I could’ve hoped for. I highly recommend booking a tour and coming to see for yourself how awesome this place is.
The people who run this rental office are unprofessional. They give you the runaround for weeks, and I mean like 4 weeks or more. They never have answers and the two guys I dealt with both didn't seem to want to help me at all. They also don't communicate well with clients, for example they did not inform us that the person we were dealing with for our rental went away for weeks on a vacation leaving us with nothing till he came back. No calls or emails, to tell you they are out of the office, they leave you hanging. I talked to three different people to see if my application had gone through…
This an excellent building, security patrols and concierge like services. Library, modern fitness facilities, meeting/ function rooms. Outdoor barbecues. The building is very well maintained by hard working building and maintenance managers. Also big thanks to our leasing agents Via and Byron for their quick response to our inquiries and concerns. Convent location, close to all shopping and services. A a real pleasure to live here.
