  • Though says it's open, it's actually closed. I would call ahead
  • It's beautiful Memorable visit
  • There are lots of lessons to learn from the Stone Chronicle Museum
  • How is this free when one needs to pay almost 10 USD to see the Shirvanshah Palace is a mystery I will never be able to understand. This is more or less a hidden gem that lets you visit a lot of these otherwise faraway cave painting destinations by bringing together some decent examples of them from around the region.

  • No tourists were there just us which was very quite and lots of history.
  • Impressive building, the museum is beautiful, but not many artifacts. Our visit was spoiled by the fact that the guard would not let us up to the second floor. We were the only visitors in the museum and he didn't want to go up the stairs with us. He said it was closed, even though it was obvious it was open and there was no sign of closing. ((
  • A more than decent 2 floor museum. Entry is free. There's a guide in case you need some information. Although, every item has its own history and background written with it. Second floor is a must visit for surprise history.
  • Small museum on two floors, stairs only, water closet is available upon request. Not really recommended unless you're really interested in this subject.
