Wow! Moxy Athens staff went above and beyond for us! My husband and I were there at the beginning and end of a ten day trip in Greece. Prior to our arrival we had received an email offering help to plan our time there. I asked for restaurant suggestions as we were there on my birthday. When we arrived, our room was decorated with balloons, sweet treats, champagne and a card! It was such a sweet surprise. Very convenient and super modern and trendy hotel. The welcome cocktail at checkin is always enjoyed! The happy hour and breakfast were great! The staff really went above and beyond to accommodate our large group of 8 with 4 rooms and 4 reservations total, even giving us 2 connecting rooms and the other 2 rooms next door on the same floor. The only downside was that all of our rooms were 2 twins and unlike other European hotels when 2 twins are usually "adjoining" these were separated completely and could not move so the 2 couples had a tough time with that for the 3 nights. Check in was quick and easy and included a free cocktail (or N/A if you prefer). Room was spacious with a nice shower, and nice King size bed. Location is very close to everything you need, quick walk to lots of great restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. Breakfast was free and delicious, and the staff set us up with a taxi to the airport in the morning (just give them a 5-10 minute heads up). Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous three night stay at this hotel. Staff super friendly and helpful with numerous questions for recommendations including Dopios when we arrived at 9pm on a Saturday night. ||One of our rooms was on the third floor facing the busy square and with the window closed nothing could be heard. Also didn’t hear a thing from inside the hotel. ||We walked nearly everywhere and when we needed to hail a cab it was never more than a minute or two before one stopped. Moxy Athens City is the perfect hotel for a visitor in this amazing city! Super accessible, be it by train or subway, and close to a million interesting things to do and delicious food to enjoy! The rooms are compact but fully furnished, with a mini bar, safe, small desk and a super comfy sofa. The team is excellent: they know their neighbourhood and they care about their guests so much! The hotel is located at Omonia sq.that is not safe place, althouhh it is a central area do not suggest. Hotel itself was very clean with a good breakfast and very very good staff. The main issue was the room. We had a door to balcony, which was locked and was not allowed to open, but the view was just a hudge concrete wall, so we had a feeling that stayed in a basement although it was on a six floor. No fresh air, no day light at all. I stayed 3 nights there. Staff was excelent, they were so good that I decided not to complain. They did all their best to make us feel comfortable. So if you…
