Overall, a beautiful resort. Cannot fault them for this fact. Service seemed a bit lacking, and being one of the most expensive hotels we've stayed at, we didn't walk away saying "wow that service was incredible." Staff seemed a bit confused at times and as if they didn't know where they needed to be or what was going on, nor did they know their menus at some of the outlets. George and his team at Brasserie by the Bay, however, was a well oiled machine and we had a fabulous dinner upon arrival. This is an exceptionally beautiful property in a rock star location overlooking Navarino bay. Contemporary design with high end finishes and many key staff who are highly trained and friendly. Loved it and would definitely come back.||However - service is very patchy notably at breakfast. Slow food and orders are often incomplete or late. Simply to get a coffee top up required one staff member to send another with an iPad. And then wait ten minutes. Incredible resort, and a true gem. I stayed for 3 nights in one of the villas, and everything was extraordinary. Their Sunday Barbecue is a beautiful event with great food a super friendly atmosphere. Everything felt superb! Done miss watching the sunset from the bar in the lobby! Can’t wait to be back.
An exceptional stay from beginning to end. The hotel offers stunning views, excellent food, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Whether you are a golfer or not, this place is perfect for everyone. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, modern, and very stylish. The design is truly top-notch. The landscaping, sea views and golf course surroundings create a very elegant atmosphere. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding. However, even at the end of July, the mornings felt surprisingly cool. We also found the water in the spa pool too cold, especially with the wind, so it was difficult to fully enjoy it. The restaurants were good and the food was enjoyable, but unfortunately we did not have a single really good cocktail anywhere in the resort, at least not…
This was my first time staying at a Mandarin Oriental outside of a city setting, and Costa Navarino really delivered. The views are absolutely breathtaking.. the sunsets especially. Arrival from the airport and check-in were both smooth, and the room upgrade was a lovely touch. A special mention to Anna at the gym and spa.. she was so attentive every single session, whether I was at the gym or in the sauna/steam area. The facilities are fantastic too. Everything about our experience was perfect. Service like we have never seen before. Location is stunning with breathtaking views at every angle, amenities are amazing but most of all the staff is incredible. We felt their goal was really to create the best experience for us. We hope to be back! A special shout out to Katarina and chef spyros. We have a lot of dietary restrictions and the team took our requests seriously, took every detail into consideration and delivered amazing results.
