I lived at Stella Apartments for about 2.5 years and overall had a good experience. While there were some challenges throughout my time living here (previous management was unresponsive and lacked clear communications, parking issues/garage flooding, elevator issues, trash room issues), I found that new adjustments to the leasing team really helped. Huge shoutout to Ashley Polley - always responsive and willing to help with any questions I had or issues that arose. With a recent change in management I think that Stella continues to be a great place to live in an excellent location.
We were early for our tour appointment yesterday but fortunately, a friendly & accommodating staff member was on hand to help. First of all, let me say Stella Apartments looked very cozy and well-maintained. It is located in very nice area of Uptown Dallas, and yet, it is still quiet. The amenities are quite nice - pool., parking, rooftop lounge, exercise room, and grill areas. The rent is reasonable. However, most important was our encounter with Ashley Polley (and her dog, Ostito). Ashley patiently showed us a couple of floor plans. Then, we wanted to see an apartment whose door refused to…
I’ve been living at Stella for almost a year, and until now I was fairly satisfied with my experience. Unfortunately, what happened recently completely changed my opinion. Parking is a nightmare here. There are countless spots marked “reserved” that no one ever seems to actually reserve. I parked in one of those spots, only to wake up for work the next day and find my car gone — towed. When I called the towing company that was listed in the email, they couldn’t even locate my car. After wasting more time, I found out there’s actually another vendor the apartment has hired to tow vehicles.…
I have called Stella home for the last 3 years and I can truly say I will never forget my living experience here. Let’s start with the apartment itself: The BEST location you can imagine. Right in the heart of state Thomas you don’t even feel like you’re living in the middle of the city. It is gorgeous and surrounded by the best restaurants of Uptown. I’m not kidding, walking distance from Standard Pour, White Rhino coffee and more. Also walking distance from Uptown Yoga and Griggs Park for the health conscious. My apartment was STUNNING and all amenities were always kept clean and useable.…

I've lived at Stella for several years now. I always feel safe at the complex and the State/Thomas neighborhood is an amazing place to live. The amenities are well maintained from the pool to the courtyard. I have a dog and this is easily the best dog park in the area. The rooftop view is unbeatable with a view of uptown and downtown. Staff communicate well with residents and resolves issues quickly! Thank you Stella, for being my home for the last few years!
Moved here a month ago from Miami and it's been above and beyond. The staff is truly the best—shoutout to Ashley, Lauren, and Jason, who are always super responsive and communicative with any building updates. Maintenance requests get handled quickly, which is always a huge plus! Neighbors are nice and courteous, and the building itself is clean, well-managed, and packed with great amenities. Super pet-friendly as well, which I appreciate as a dog mom! I also love that they host fun community events that make it truly feel like home 🩷
This has been the worst living experience I’ve ever had. The elevators are constantly out of service, which is a major inconvenience for everyone. As someone who travels frequently for work, I've had to carry heavy bags up and down five flights of stairs more times than I can count. The parking garage is always flooded, even when it hasn’t rained for weeks, making the already limited parking even worse. After being forced to park outside, my car was hit. Trash bins are constantly overflowing, and walking through the mailroom or to the gym is unbearable due to the overwhelming stench. The…
I strongly advise against living here. The building has numerous problems: elevators frequently break down, the parking garage is often flooded with no available spaces for residents or visitors, and the trash room is consistently overflowing, leading to horrible smells in the hallways on every floor. The pool is poorly situated in a shaded area (and broken), and maintenance requests are handled sluggishly. Lauren Hightower from the office is unhelpful, and Simpson Property Management is unreliable. Additionally, there are power outages caused by the building’s equipment. Be aware that they…
