A short 5-minute climb up the stairs rewards you with a truly breathtaking panorama. On a clear day, you can spot majestic Himalayan peaks like Mount Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Shishapangma, Gauri Shankar, and several others stretching across the horizon. If you’re lucky and the skies are especially clear, you might even catch a glimpse of the tip of Mount Everest in the distance.
Unforgettable sunrise experience with stunning Himalayan views Nagarkot Sunrise View Park is an absolutely magical place to start the day. Watching the sun rise over the Himalayas is a breathtaking experience—the sky slowly changing colors as the mountain peaks come into view is something you’ll never forget. Nagarkot is widely considered the ultimate destination for panoramic Himalayan views without the need for an arduous trek. Perched on the edge of the Kathmandu Valley, it offers a breathtaking 360-degree vista that, on clear days, includes eight out of the thirteen Himalayan ranges, including Everest. The experience of watching the sunrise turn the snow-capped peaks from soft purple to a brilliant, glowing gold is truly spiritual. It is the perfect mountain retreat for those looking to breathe in the crisp mountain air and enjoy the quiet majesty of nature just a short drive from the capital.

The best view point for himalaian massive in sunny ckear days like from Octover to March. If you want see the Everest its peak is hidden on the right side beside the front mountain
Nice greenery. It's lovely for trekking. The smell is almost healing and the sight was just breathtaking. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the mountains due to cloudy weather. But I was able to walk back and forth the huge bridge. If you're using the bridge, you do need to pay for the entrance. But it is a good experience. Some small shops nearby sell Nepali traditional snacks if you wish to try them.
We were there 10th May 2025, and the day was cloudy therefore the view was not great. According to our driver, September & October the sky is clear. That time will be able to see the Himalayas. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes walk up the steps, to the panoramic view point from the drop off point/parking area.
Nagarkot Panoramic Sunrise Point offers an awe-inspiring spectacle that words can scarcely capture. Perched atop the verdant hills of Nagarkot, this vantage point unveils a mesmerizing sunrise over the Himalayas. As the first light of day kisses the snow-capped peaks, a symphony of colors paints the sky, creating a magical atmosphere. The experience is nothing short of ethereal, with the Himalayan range majestically stretching across the horizon. The tranquility of the moment is profound, and the crisp mountain air invigorates the senses. The sight of the sun casting its golden glow upon the…
