I recently toured The Highline and had a great experience with Teyona. They were professional and personable, and they really made the property stand out. Although I did not move in due to some communication delays during my application, there are several things you should know before you tour: The Building History: This was previously the Metro II (IRS) office building. Because of that original construction, the floors are much thicker than typical apartments, which helps prevent hearing noise from neighbors above you. Windows: Only floors 1–3 have true floor-to-ceiling windows. On the 10th…
I’ve lived here for the past four years, and during that time I’ve really seen the building change, especially in how connected and engaged residents are. A lot of that shift has come from Maya’s efforts. She’s been incredibly thoughtful about resident engagement and has put real care into building a sense of community, particularly through events that bring people together. What really stands out is how intentional she is in her day-to-day interactions. Whether she’s giving tours, stopping to chat with residents, or taking the time to engage with people’s pets, she makes a genuine effort to…
Update: One week later, and 50+ residents have received charges despite submitting the proper paperwork again for pets and housing insurance, which by lease agreements were all submitted within 30 days of signing a renewal (~August of this year). The office has now begun ignoring calls and emails. You would think that being many of the residents are furloughed federal workers as well as the current state of our region, they would not be playing with people's money. I have lived in this building since 2021 and have had at least four different management companies during that time. While the…
Nisan's Highline Six-Month Review Overall, I really love my apartment at The Highline. The unit itself is beautiful, and the interior design and layout make it a lovely place to live. The maintenance staff are very kind and professional, and the cleaning crew does an amazing job keeping the building as clean as possible. They truly do all they can, and their hard work is appreciated. Unfortunately, the aged carpets have become an ongoing issue. Carpet shampooing doesn’t seem to help much anymore, and I’m concerned that over time, the buildup of old pet urine and feces could pose a health…

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPLEX. I RATED 2 STARS SO MY REVIEW DOES NOT GET LOST. I am a previous tenant but I still feel the need to detail my experience for others but I'll keep it as short as possible. I moved in when this building was owned by The Bernstein Company. The property manager at the time, Heather got caught stealing tenant's money from the complex. $15 was stolen from me and my roommate for a "guest parking fee". I looked into that property manager's record and she's been to court multiple times one of which it seems for the same issue so I'm not understanding how she even got the job…
Avoid at All Costs – Misleading Promises and Poor Management I’ve lived at Highline Apartments for 15 months, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most frustrating rental experiences I’ve had. When I signed the lease, management promised amenities like designated parking—but after over a year, I *still* don’t have parking. They continue to overpromise and underdeliver. To make things worse, management changes every 3 to 7 months, so the rules are constantly shifting with no consistency. The current leasing office is nearly impossible to reach, and when you do get in touch, you’re often…
I had read some comments before starting my process to rent an apartment regarding the lack of communication and how long it took to respond to messages, but I thought it was a matter of the previous administration, unfortunately I fell into the same situation. I began the process in April 2025, I asked some questions before applying but they never answered them... so I applied at random. When I started the process, I exchanged 2 or 3 messages with Teyona T. I tried to contact her again but she never responded. I am waiting for a refund. As insurance for the apartment, they ask for 3 times…
Read some of the reviews, I can only speak about my own experience. I love my apartment! I have a 2 bedroom 2 baths. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. The views from the 10th Floor are spectacular, especially on the 4th of July and New Years, you can enjoy the fireworks if you're lucky. I routinely enjoy the sunrise from my kitchen table while having my morning cup of coffee and then the sunset from my bedroom window. The ceiling to waist height windows offers a lot of natural light which I love, my plants do too:-) Been here a little over a year and lived through the 3…
