A big thank you to Abdullah Aqil at the Lobby Lounge for the outstanding service. I came specifically to enjoy the outdoor seating and from the moment I arrived he greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel valued. He was Polite, Attentive and made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. Really impressed with the level of care and service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovely place and the hotel itself is very charming. The rooms are nice and the service initially appears professional, but the experience did not fully meet expectations. We were supposed to receive a room upgrade but were told there were no available rooms. Instead, they offered us a meal as compensation. When we went to redeem it, we were first told that it was not included, although they eventually honored it after we insisted. While the hotel is beautiful, the situation left us unsure whether the room upgrade was truly unavailable. Overall, the service and communication could be improved.
We had a wonderful experience at Sumhan Lobby Lounge today. The drinks and desserts were absolutely delicious beautifully presented and exceeded our expectations. Mr. Abdullah Aqil provided outstanding service warm, friendly and professional always making us feel valued and welcome. His positive attitude truly made our visit exceptional and unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!
Truly an extraordinary stay in every category. The grounds are breathtaking and the details in every room are great down to the Frette towels. Location is incredible in the heart of Diriyah, the historical district, which is always lively. The only minor downside to the entire hotel is a very small gym with limited equipment: perhaps there is a way to repurpose some of the space in the hotel to deliver a fuller experience. Very confident, friendly, and professional, with great knowledge of beverages and flavors. He made the experience feel personal and welcoming, not just another hotel visit. The drinks were perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and matched exactly what we were in the mood for. Service like this truly elevates the whole hotel experience. Definitely coming back.
