The instant motion to resolve an election of trustee controversy raises the threshold issue of whether a candidate for election to the position of trustee has standing to bring such a motion.

The Debtor, Sandhurst Securities, Inc., commenced this case on May 10, 1988 by filing with this Court its voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of title 11, United States Code, 11 U.S.C. § 1101 et seq.
