I respectfully dissent. In each of these two felony cases, the trial court accepted appellant’s guilty plea and, without ever adjudicating her guilty or considering evidence that she was in fact not guilty, sentenced her to a term of imprisonment. The Fifth Court of Appeals affirmed. Aidrich v. State, 53 S.W.3d 460 (Tex.App.Dallas 2001).
