The trial judge, upon application of the 32-year-old father, appellee Charles A. McDougall, modified the joint custody originally decreed as part of the dissolution of the parties’ marriage by awarding sole custody of their 6- and 31/2-year-old sons to the father, thereby implicitly dismissing the counter-application of the 27-year-old mother, appellant Paula L. McDougall, for sole custody.
