The facts found by the court upon the trial in this case are as follows, which appear in the record: On 18 May, 1893, T. H. H. Richardson, residing in Craven County, State of North Carolina, city of New Bern, was the owner, and seized and possessed in fee simple of the lot of land described in the complaint and the tax deed hereinafter mentioned, being an unimproved lot, worth about $250, situated in the said city, county and State; and the description of said lot in the complaint, which is identical with the description in the…
