hThis disciplinary matter arises from formal charges filed by the Office of Disci plinary Counsel (“ODC”) against respondent, August L. Gomez, an attorney licensed to practice law in Louisiana.

UNDERLYING FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

The ODC filed two sets of formal charges against respondent. The first set of formal charges, 03-DB-041, was filed in July 2003. The second set of formal charges, 07-DB-050, was filed in September 2007.
