for the Court.

On May 10, 2005, a Providence County Superior Court jury returned a verdict finding the defendant, Jason Palmer, guilty of the following felonies: one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, four counts of first-degree robbery, one count of attempted robbery, two counts of carrying a pistol without a license, five counts of committing a crime of violence while armed with a firearm, and three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.
