On February 18, 2003, Fred Amoako-hene (“Amoakohene”) filed the instant chapter 7 bankruptcy petition, listing Washington Mutual Bank as a secured creditor holding a lien on his town house located at 2170 East 96th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60617. On the same day, Amoako-hene executed the necessary statement of intention regarding this real property, opting to retain it rather than surrender it.
