Plaintiffs, Stephen J. Davis, Mary J. Davis, William H. Eilert, and Otto Blume, filed a petition with the regional board of school trustees of Madison County to have a 160-acre tract of land detached from Worden Unit School District No. 16 (the Worden District) in Madison County and annexed to Staunton Community Unit School District No.6 (the Staunton District) in Madison and Macoupin counties.
