Todd Roper appeals his convictions of numerous offenses, including forcible sodomy, kidnapping, first-degree burglary, and multiple charges of first-degree assault and armed criminal action. He argues that the trial court committed three errors. First, he contends that the trial court erred by denying his motion for a judgment of acquittal on one of the first-degree assault charges, based upon a claim of insufficiency of the evidence.
