Petitioner Georgianne Miller and respondent Joseph A. Miller IV were married on December 7, 1987. One child was born during the marriage. A petition for dissolution of marriage was filed on August 2, 1989, and a judgment of dissolution was entered on February 22, 1991, which was modified on April 8, 1991.
