MURRAY, Justice.

This is an appeal by the North Smithfield School Committee (committee) from a judgment declaring that the North Smithfield Teachers Association (association) is entitled to be paid for the entire 1971-1972 school year according to the pay scale con tained in a March 30, 1971 arbitration award.
