McCALEB, Justice.
On February 28, 1944, Bernard A. Wa-lsh filed suit against his wife, Mrs. Efifie E. Walsh, in the Twenty Sixth Judicial District Court for the Parish of Bossier, praying for an absolute divorce on the ground that he and his wife had been living separate and apart for more than two years. Upon 'his allegation that his wife was and had been a resident of Washington, D. C., the court, in conformity with law,' appointed a curator ad hoc to represent her in the divorce proceedings.
