OPINION ON MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

In this adversary proceeding, the plaintiffs Daniel Grumbine and Graham Bottrell seek a determination on summary judgment that the debt due to them from the debtor/defendant is nondischargeable under section 528(a)(2)(A) of the Bankruptcy Code. The plaintiffs assert that a previously rendered state court judgment entered against the debtor, under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 et seq., collaterally estops the bankruptcy court from litigating the issue of fraud under section 523(a)(2)(A).
