OPINION

DAUGHTREY, Judge.

The State of Tennessee appeals from the judgment of the trial court dismissing two indictments against the appellee, Alfred Eugene Grizzell, an inmate in the Florida state penitentiary at Raiford, Florida, based on the State’s alleged violation of the Interstate Compact on Detainers, T.C.A. § 40-3901. The State insists that the inmate failed to comply with the mandatory requirements of the Interstate Compact and that the trial judge therefore erred in dismissing the indictments against him.
